		<description>what many riders don&#039;t understand is how to control a horse in a parade. teach your horse at home to respond to the command &quot;whoa&quot; to the point it will stop immediately upon hearing it. The last trail horse I had would stop as far away as he could hear me even when someone else was riding him. this way, I wasn&#039;t jerking on him,throwing him out of balance when I needed to etop. Ive seen riders jerl a horse into a sitting position trying to stop it. also, horses need to be used to horsedrawn vehicles,wagons,carts,etc. one day on the wagon train in &#039;86, a sheriffs posse was going to escort us into townbut their horses were so scared of the wagons,they couldn,t get near the train.</description>
