Hey everyone, No, I did not find my trailer and everyone has been so nice I wanted to remark about it on the blog. It's fairly reasonable that I won't ever see my "Mr Trail Magic" again and we had some great times. As you all know you have to pull up your boot straps and move on. What I want to relay is that during my quest for information on stolen trailers I found out that there had been several others stolen in this last year. Nothing is totally theft proof but the more hassle you cause the thief the less they will want to take it. My trailer was cased out or "studied by the thief" for quite a while so keep your eyes open for anyone unfamiliar in the area. If anyone drives on to your property asking questions, they could be a potential thief. It hurts like heck to be so mistrusting of people but times are bad and some folks will stoop to great lengths to line their pockets.
I wish there was some way we could have been informed of the previous trailer thefts, making us more vigilant, but I am not aware of the police tying any of these thefts together. Anyway, this is my gift to you all. I will be the example of what can happen to someone if they are complacent with their things. Don't let your guard down, protect what is yours and always be aware of your surroundings.
Have a great and safe fall.
