I also ride a Wintec Pro Stock Synthetic Saddle. I bought it because it helped me feel secure in the saddle and I have a young horse whose body shape will change over time and I didn't want to buy a saddle that would fit him now and then in two years be too small. The Wintec has an adjustible gullet system so that it can fit a wide range of sizes. I love it. My horse loves it. It is light weight and helps me with my body position. I like that it has English leathers (although you can get it with Western) because English leathers keep my knees and ankles supple and I don't get stiff.

I love my synthetic Wintec Stock Saddle. After the leather wore out on my Australian Stock Saddle and my horse changed shape,I did a lot of research. Not only is the Wintec tough but it is one of the most adjustable saddles on the market with its air cushion pads and it's user adjustable gullets and its spaces for shims. I no longer worry about getting my saddle wet in the rain or in crossing streams. If you want leather, the Bates saddle is made by the same company.
